In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, Goldcoaststar will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

  1. Notification of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Goldcoaststar website by completing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our support team.

Upon receipt of the Notice as described below, Goldcoaststar will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged material from the website.

To be processed, your notice must be a formal written communication that includes the following (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  • Identification of the Copyrighted Work: Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., a link to the original work or a description).
  • Identification of the Infringing Material: Specific identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, including the exact URL(s) on goldcoaststar.com.
  • Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of Accuracy: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

  1. Our Takedown Process

Once a valid and complete DMCA notice is received:

  1. Immediate Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your claim within 1–2 business days.
  2. Internal Investigation: Our legal compliance team will verify the claim and locate the content within 3–5 business days.
  3. Removals: If the claim is verified, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material within 7 business days of the initial report.
  1. Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a Counter-Notification. To be effective, the Counter-Notification must be a written communication sent to support@goldcoaststar.com and must include your contact information, a description of the material removed, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error.

If a valid Counter-Notice is received, the DMCA allows the removed material to be restored unless the copyright owner files a court action against the content provider.

  1. Repeat Infringer Policy

Goldcoaststar does not tolerate repeated violations of intellectual property. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate the accounts or access of users, vendors, or contributors who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

  1. Limitation of Liability and Misrepresentation

Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees. Do not make false claims; doing so can have legal consequences.
